As usual the current annual report of the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) offers an overview of last year’s activities. However, there are some alterations: For the first time the annual report is formulated under a special motto. In addition to the indicators and methods, which make innovations measurable, the authors offer profound information and examine the issue from different perspectives.
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research presented demonstrators of research projects for an independent living at home at the 10th German Senior´s Day in Hamburg. Of great interest were the results of the workshops with senior citizens which were presented for the first time in a brochure. (2012, May 7)
Information about German Senior´s Day in GermanThe Bavarian State Ministry of Economics, Infrastructure, Traffic and Technology (StMWIVT) is funding the development of new technologies, including Microsystems Technology (MST) and Information and Communication Technology (I+C), under R&D programmes for a sustainable support of Bavarian companies and research institutions. VDI/VDE-IT has been put in charge of project management for both funding programmes.
