As usual the current annual report of the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) offers an overview of last year’s activities. However, there are some alterations: For the first time the annual report is formulated under a special motto. In addition to the indicators and methods, which make innovations measurable, the authors offer profound information and examine the issue from different perspectives.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research presented demonstrators of research projects  for an independent living at home at the 10th German Senior´s Day in Hamburg. Of great interest were the results of the workshops with senior citizens which were presented for the first time in a brochure. (2012, May 7)

German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety

VDI/VDE-IT, acting on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Reactor Safety, is concerned with the question of how to generate and use energy sustainably in future. Currently the focus is on electromobility. In this area, VDI/VDE-IT assists in the elaboration and implementation of the National Development Plan on Electromobility and organises project management under the Electromobility funding programme.
