MOBKOM.NET
Many companies of the regional initiative “we make IT Berlin-Brandenburg” join the network MOBKOM.NET in order to cooperate on the development of solutions on mobile communication technology for the housing economy. The Federal State Brandenburg has kicked off the regional initiative and backed it up as a Joint Agreement for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures – Network, called “GA-Netzwerk”. The network contents are consumer-oriented topics that are discussed in a Federal State-wide “IT dialog”. Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) as a European topic and practice solutions using KNX and other bus systems are as well discussed as communication solutions under the TV-reverse channels and all radio technologies. The network was showcased at the fair “IT-Profits 2008” and presented Europe-wide leading expert solutions on a specifically designed topic area. With the Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the inter-trade organizations the network presents its solutions on fairs and road shows in all German Federal States. Single solutions are internationally found, like in East-European and southern European countries, but also in Asian and Arab countries. In the “capital region” the leading national associations concentrate on diverse branches with defined application potential. The housing economy asks for practical and cost-efficient solutions that benefit above all their tenants (i.e. the consumer) and offer the housing companies innovative roads to the future. The companies from the “mobility and communication” competence field that are located in the capital region identified in cooperation with the technical committee of the housing associations the relevant fields of application and brought the solutions with European pretensions to the market. The network analyses the potentials of the target markets and verifies the feasibility of new approaches and business models.
