Pôle Genopole (DRAFT)
Created in 1998 at the initiative of the french government, local authorities and the French Association against myopathy (muscular dystrophy), Genopole ® is based on an original concept: the meeting in one place of academic and private research laboratories, biotechnology companies and high level education. Genopole ® is a "valley of genetics," entirely devoted to research in genetics, genomics, post-genomics and related sciences. Its objective is to promote the development of a large-scale biology and the creation of biotechnology companies.
