Security and Safety made in Berlin-Brandenburg

With ca. 37.000 employees and an annual turnover of 5.6 billion Euros the capital and its neighbouring region Brandenburg form Germany’s second-largest IT location. In the technology fields of e-government, geo-information, mobility & communication as well as security with IT, IT companies from Berlin and Brandenburg are at home Germany-wide. In autumn 2006, the region’s entrepreneurs, in cooperation with the Ministry for Economic Affairs Brandenburg and the initiative ZAB GmbH, developed a framework enabling the companies’ knowledge and mastery of security solutions to become a success story even beyond the region’s borders. “SeSamBB- Security and Safety Made in Berlin” – is the third IT cooperation network able to establish itself in the capital region. The main tasks of the cooperation include the coordination of various networks and to direct initiatives and the engagement of regional suppliers. Bundling results in increased innovation and value creation for each individual. Establishing the network SeSamBB is a second step into the right direction. Innovation generates increased commercial success. Now we want to extend our partnerships to the wider Europe.
