Westpomeranian chemical cluster "Zielona Chemia" comprises of 21 companies from chemical sector of industry (there are 3 more companies right now, that are interested in entering the cluster) and is supported by Szczecin University of Technology as well as by local authorities and organisations. The companies are based in the Westpomeranian Region of Poland that is adjacent to German Lands of Mecklenburg Vorpommern and Brandenburg. The companies are big ones traded on Warsaw Stock Exchange as well as small local companies. The cluster started its activities in January 2006 and has been officially registered in September 2007.
