Global Innovation
Our projects and activities for the internationalisation of science and research have been resumed under the headword “Global Innovation”. VDI/VDE-IT has long-standing experience with initiating and implementing an international networking of innovation players, systems and programmes. In this area, we are active both in the BRICS states (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and in the countries of the Arab region, Asia, Africa as well as South and Latin America.
- ANIS Indicator-based Analysis of National Innovation Systems
ANIS is a methodological approach, developed and tested in practice by the Institute of Innovation and Technology of VDI/VDE-IT, for analysing innovation systems and deriving recommendations for action from it to improve these systems. The analysis is based on structured interviews of experts with local innovation players from Politics/Administration, Intermediaries and Research/Industry. ANIS is applied above all in developing and emergent countries or in regions within these countries.
- MTCI Modular Training Concept Innovation
MTCI is a modular training programme on the subject of innovation for decision-makers from politics and administration as well as for innovation managers, e.g. in companies, research institutions, transfer and centres for business starters, especially from developing and emergent countries. Overriding priorities of the programme that needs to be adapted to specific purposes constitute the basis for innovation and innovation systems, the implementation of innovation processes and innovation planning and impact analysis.
- Clu-B Cluster Benchmarking
Regional innovation networks, so-called clusters, are increasingly becoming drivers of innovation worldwide. Clu-B is a methodology, developed by the office of the Competence Networks of Germany Initiative within VDI/VDE-IT, and in use since 2008, for the comparative analysis of the organisation and coordination structures of clusters and their national and international visibility.
