Microsystems Technology
Whether it is suppliers in the automobile industry, it is medical technology or the information and communication sector – innovative microsystems technology (MST) is needed everywhere. This industry employs some 766,000 personnel in this country, with a turnover of more than 82,000 million Euros in 2009. This is an increasing trend – with annual growth rates of up to 10%.
VDI/VDE-IT has been supporting the development of microsystems technology since its beginning. Our services include organising funding programmes of the Federal Government and the Federal States, the management of networks, the implementation of accompanying measures, and the dissemination of results through conferences and publications.
