Managing Director Christine Weiß

Christine Weiß (*1969) holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Biomedical Engineering. Following five years of industry experience as a Development Engineer at B. Braun Melsungen AG, she joined VDI/VDE-IT in 2000 as a Scientific Advisor for Medical Technology.

She served as Deputy Head of the Demography, Clusters and Future Research department from 2011 to 2019 and subsequently headed the Transformation in SMEs and Industry department for six years. Since 2025, Christine Weiß has been Managing Director of VDI/VDE-IT.
