European and International Business Development

Our mission is to bring Europe and the world closer to home and to position VDI/VDE-IT specifically in Europe and internationally. We initiate and coordinate projects and service contracts in areas of global relevance and actively participate in European and international strategy processes. At the same time, we provide up-to-date, reliable knowledge on programmes, instruments, and developments in research and innovation funding.

The department also coordinates VDI/VDE-IT’s participation in key European and international platforms, networks, and committees. In addition, we are responsible for the ISO 9001 quality management process for European funding projects, thereby ensuring uniform standards and high quality.

Together with the company’s specialist departments, and based on their expertise, roles, and networks, we anchor strategic topics, create reliable references, and develop new, international consulting services. In this way, we sustainably strengthen the global profile and strategic positioning of VDI/VDE-IT.
