Managing Director Peter Dortans

Peter Dortans (*1962) graduated from the University of Cologne in 1988 with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career in 1989 at ESSO AG in Hamburg, holding positions in Germany and abroad in the fields of marketing, trading, controlling, and business planning for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, including assignments at ESSO BENELUX.

In 1994, he joined VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH as Head of Innovation Management. Four years later, he was appointed Head of Business Consulting at VDI/VDE-IT. Since 1999, Peter Dortans has served as Managing Director of VDI/VDE-IT.
