CCAMbassador complements the coordination and harmonisation activities of the European Partnership for Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) by extending stakeholder engagement beyond the research and innovation community. The aim is to support relevant actors in the transition of CCAM to operational implementation. To this end, the project identifies key building blocks for the deployment of CCAM services, strengthens cooperation between all CCAM stakeholders – in particular between EU Member States and associated countries – and promotes the widespread use of the common European evaluation methodology. In addition, the existing European CCAM knowledge base is being expanded and specifically adapted to the needs of users and citizens.
VDI/VDE-IT is leading the work package ‘Strategic CCAM ecosystem analysis & stakeholder concertation’ and is responsible for analysing relevant building blocks for the deployment of connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) and international cooperation opportunities, as well as for overall stakeholder engagement with the research and industry community.
