The aim of the project was to provide the client with a clear overview of the structures and key areas of focus in european battery research and to identify specific starting points for cooperation with partners in Europe. This included classifying the research, development and innovation landscape to provide orientation in this complex environment, analysing relevant players and technology clusters for strategic market positioning, preparing information on technologies and ongoing projects for the targeted initiation of cooperation and access to intellectual property, and communicating promising ways of financing R&D& I projects based on extensive experience with European funding instruments.
VDI/VDE-IT took on the overall coordination of the project and provided a well-founded overview of the European research, development and innovation landscape, including the screening of relevant players and technology clusters, as well as the provision of information on technologies and research projects for the targeted identification of cooperation and IP potential. The project was commissioned by VDE Global Services South Korea.
Based on its many years of experience with European funding programmes, VDI/VDE-IT supported the successful financing of R&D&I projects and ensured the sustainable use of the results through continuous customer communication and knowledge transfer.
